Boulder pet sitters Jordan DiMarco and Ed Glassgow

Dogma Catma Pet Sitting, LLC is owned and operated by husband and wife team Jordan Di Marco and Ed Glassgow.

Jordan founded Dogma Catma Pet Sitting, LLC in 2006 and since then it has grown by leaps and bounds, growing awards and accolades and expanding territory.

Jordan took a roundabout path to starting a business. She majored in Biology in college, and worked at veterinary clinics, a dog daycare and pet supply stores. She interned at the Barbara Davis Center research and development studying diabetes in mice. She became familiar with different animal medications, breed traits and behavior.

Throughout this process, two things became clear. She wanted to work with animals and she wanted to run her own business. Enter Dogma Catma Pet Sitting, LLC the same year she graduated from CU Denver.

She joined Pet Sitters International, the leading educational resource and community for pet sitters. She took business courses and got all business licensure and insurance. One thing that has resonated with her immensely was the amount of things out there to learn. So the business molded itself on the concept of continuing education. In 2009 she became a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, a continuing education program by Pet Sitters International. In 2011 Pet Sitters International awarded her Pet Sitter of the Year! In 2015, her company was named Best Pet Sitting Service by the Daily Camera’s Boulder County Gold.

In 2016, Ed joined the business. He had worked in the automotive industry for 13 years and for 6 years had been Dogma Catma Pet Sitting, LLC’s number 1 supporter, often chipping in to help with technical support, events and networking. He has been certified in pet first aid and CPR as well.

Jordan and Ed are currently owned by Hippo the dog, Pico de Gato, a black cat, Natasha, a ferret and the Dude, a Mali Uromastyx. In 2015 they welcomed their first little two legged Caelum, and in 2018 the second two legged Enzo joined the crew!

Zelda, the OG Dogma Catma dog, went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2017.
